چکیده

The interest in the development of biobased adhesives has increased due to environmental concerns. Moreover, as production engineered wood products (EWPs) is expected grow, market needs transit toward formaldehyde-free products. Cellulose nanoparticles (CNPs) are a material with unique properties and advantages for producing hybrid materials adhesives. Besides their traditional use reinforcing additives, CNPs can be incorporated at beginning polymerization reaction form situ polymerized better mechanical physicochemical than neat adhesive. Despite outstanding characteristics, still an emerging nanomaterial adhesive field, studies incipient. This review explores utilization heterogeneous polyvinyl acetate, polymeric isocyanates, waterborne polyurethane systems, other polymer latexes. main challenges discussed, some recommendations set down manufacture these novel nanocomposites.

A Nanocellulose Polypyrrole Composite Based on Microfibrillated Cellulose from Wood

It is demonstrated that it is possible to coat the individual fibers of wood-based nanocellulose with polypyrrole using in situ chemical polymerization to obtain an electrically conducting continuous high-surface-area composite. The experimental results indicate that the high surface area of the water dispersed material, to a large extent, is maintained upon normal drying without the use of any...

Polymerization of the Dental Adhesives

Objective: The bonding adhesive holds the composite filling to the residual tooth, creating a chain cross-–link during the photo polymerization process. In this article we will be discussing the polymerization process under a thermodynamic viewpoint between amorphous structures of the dental market adhesives, the hybrid layer of the residual tooth and the white polymers filling. The thermodynam...
